               Why couldn't I save you…?

     In my dreams

     sometimes I see you

     and it’s good

     and I smile…

     and I wake up

     missing you

          While other times…

          it’s haunting

          and I wake up

          in tears…

               And there are times

               when you cross

               my mind

               and I wonder…

               Do I cross yours…?

               Or, might you be

               too busy for me?

                    While I know

                    that train is

                    un-railed  

                    All the same

                    I need

                    to feel

                    your presence

                    again.
